Cakes By Candace

Candace Ramjohn has been an artist and cake maker since she was young. When she started Cakes by Candace in 2002, she became dedicated to both traditional and innovative cake making. “Artistry was always a big part of my life,” she says. “Cake, as I discovered, just became another medium, an opportunity to express myself artistically.” Candace discovered her passion for baking while pleasing her family and friends with cakes they could all enjoy.

Her artistic sense has not let her down in the cake world either. After moving the shop out of her home, Candace's storefront location continues to thrive in the Edmonton community. “People are still learning that we accommodate such a wide variety of cake styles and cake products, so it's just a matter of getting the word out there,” she explains.
