For years, Thai Palace has been one of my favorite restaurants to go to for lunch and dinner. The prices at lunch are at a great price, which include a soup or salad. There are dinner specials as well during the week. The food tastes phenomenal, the vegetables are fresh, and the service is always consistent. The atmosphere always feels warm and welcoming. If you haven't had the food here yet, definitely give it a try! Its the perfect place for all occasions!

Delivery: Terrible Watery Food

We ordered delivery from Thai Palace and were surprised to discover that our food was horribly runny, as it it had been watered down. The vegetables were undercooked and all of the "sauces" were watery and unappetizing. Very disappointed. We certainly will not order from here again.

Pleasant, comfortable atmosphere. Very good, friendly service. Food: presentation, taste, good portion size - all excellent! I have been there twice recently, and I know this will become a favourtie restaurant to visit.

Great Pad Thai

I frequently go here or order out when I am at work. I usually get the Pad Thai (which is the best that I have tried so far, lots of veg)...the Pad See Ew or the Cashew Chicken. All very good. Their wonton soup seems to have changed a bit but I still enjoy it. Would recommend.

food really good, but soo hot in there

I had fresh spring rolls there and they were amazing. I love the fact that they have carrots in them. The chicken pad thai i had there was also pretty good. A bit spicy for my taste but the waitress for nice enough to take it back and have them add more sauce to it. And then it was perfect. However, it was way too hot there. We asked our waitress if the AC was on and she said yes. We couldn't beleive it. I have heard from friend that have also been there that they had the same experience as us. They all love the food, but prefer to go there during winter time. Summer time at Thai Palace is deffinitely not good. It's a pricy restaurant, and we woulnd't mind going there again, because it's worth it for the food, but I don't think we can handle the heat.

arrived new years eve with no reservation 5 ish. very good service, lovely atmosphere, delicious food with good tips from the waitress on spice...interesting special rooms for a group would be fun.

called in a large dinner order at 6:30pm. After I put my order in, the lady that took the order hung up quickly after not telling me when the order would be ready. I arrived at the restaurant at 7pm and the waitress who took my order over the phone stated that something was wrong - that she had entered my name into the computer, but not the order and that it would take a bit longer - about 20 more minutes. So, I went left and said I would come back again. They called at 7:30pm and stated that the order was ready (I was already on my way). When I arrived, I asked if there would be a discount or anything because of the delay and error. The waitress stated that there wouldn`t be - the glitch with the computer couldn`t be helped (When it was really human error, because she did not enter my order properly or check that is was ok). When I got home, the bottom of my takeout bag was soaking wet (I drove carefully and the bag remained upright). They styrofoam containers were all piled on each other and one of my dishes - the styrofoam got `squashed` and leaked all over. Also, I didn`t get my two orders of sticky rice...the food was good, but the take out experience was disappointing. Maybe I'll tray their other location next time. UPDATE: 01-04-2010 - I got a call today from the Manager/Owner of this restaurant who read this review. She acknowledged that this happened and was very apologetic. She was not aware that this occurred - and followed up with staff involved. I appreciate her apology.

Service could be better. Pad Thai noodles were dry and tasteless and the red curry was watery. I definitely had better Thai peanut sauce else where. The chicken tasted rubbery and was not fresh. Worst anniversary my husband and I had. It was not well worth my money.

The service was okay, quick but not super friendly. The food was definitely not the best Thai food I have had. The chicken satay seemed rubbery. Nothing seemed fresh and frozen vegetables were used in my meal. The Pad Thai was okay at best. The deep fried banana was the only impressive item me and my friend had... This is not an authentic experience and seems to be a rushed dining experience.

This restaurant is amazing. I tried a mango fruitshake, it was the most amazing drink I have ever tasted. The food is absolutely phenomenal, the service was above and beyond the service that I normally receive in most restaurants. This was my second visit, and I am looking forward to my next one, and the one after that, and the one after that...etc. Highly recommend it, if you want high quality food, go here. They are known for having the best Thai cuisine in the city. As well, they use nothing but the freshest possible ingredients. I always leave there feeling full, and satisfied, never a heavy feeling like when eating chicken wings, for lack of a better example.

This was my first experience trying Thai food and I loved it. I do not like my food too spicy so I ordered a 0.5 and that was perfect for me! The food was delicious and presented beautifully! The decor is also georgeous. They have private rooms for parties that are also really nice. Our server was very friendly as well.

The food was below average, I've had much better at various other restaurants. The service was so slow that we almost walked out. When we did get served it was rushed and the waiter even spilled a dish on my daughter's head. The atmosphere wasn't relaxing, will definately not be back

We have visited this restaurant many times and they are always consistent. The food and service is always amazing. There attention to detail with fresh ingredients makes this a step above the other Thai restaurants in the city.

OMG What an awesome and unexpected experience...

OMG What an awesome and unexpected experience! Been driving by for years, and finaly went in. Hubby isn't a fan, but we tried anyways! Now, he can't get enough! We've been dining there every week for the last month! Great atmosphere, awesome service, amazing food! I'd strongly recommend it to anybody, even if you don't like Thai food!

I must begin by saying that I am not a fan of Thai food. I went here as a favour :). Anyways, I have to admit, I liked the food more than I thought I would, and all I know is that my girlfriend, and sister both absolutely love the food there. My sister orders food from there atleast once a week. I went there with my girlfriend for a special occasion. The service was fantastic, and I felt like the atmosphere was perfect. If I enjoyed Thai food a bit more, I would definitely go back.

We went for family member's birthday last night, the food was excellent,also the service verything was perfect. I recommend this restaurant for everyone who like Authentic thai food.

Good Food Fast Service

My friend and I went for Lunch yesterday. The restaurant was busy but our food come very fast and the server very helpful and friendly. The food was very delicous. Finally we were finished on our lunch time. It was very nice lunch.

Best Thai food in the area

This place is a gem - beautiful atmosphere. I love the fresh roses on the table! The food is never less than fantastic and the portions are generous enough to share amongst 3-4 people. Waitresses are always very friendly and knowledgeable and their service is prompt. I especially love how they garnish their dishes with fresh flowers - beautiful! It is my boyfriend and my most favorite place to order take out from.

BEST THAI FOOD IN AREA!

This restaurant had the best thai food I've had anywhere. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with lit candles, fresh flowers, and the private rooms were beautiful. My food was delicious, very spicy, flavourful, and had a wonderful presentation. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I felt like i was back in Thailand again. It is a must try for anyone! Will be back again and again.
