Pink Lime Salon & Spa

Since 1995, Pink Lime Salon & Spa has been focussed on family and community. Owner Bassem Jawhari comes from a long line of hairdressers, including his two brothers: Nader, who runs a Pink Lime Salon in Edmonton, and Joseph, who does the same in Vancouver. For all three brothers, hair styling is more than just giving people a new look. “You can make a difference in people. When you change people’s lives, it’s like winning the lottery,” says Bassem. “It’s the greatest feeling in the world. It’s always something I’ve been attracted to.”

That sense of family is passed on to the stylists Bassem employs at Pink Lime Salon & Spa. His work ethic and team building attitude has attracted top stylists. “When stylists are employees and not so much seen as contractors but are a part of the family, they are doing their work as a family and working together,’ says Bassem. “I think it adds to the integrity of the company. We’ve attracted these people to join forces and make it more powerful, increasing the knowledge of everyone. We are very proud of that.”
