Stay away from this company.
We ordered to cover our floor with laminate to a company VLC Trust restoration who calls itself a professional floor installer. However, It seems that these people have got a license for this kind of work having very poor knowledge of how this work should be done. On the day they completed the installation and required payment for their job they said we can't go upstairs because glue had to get dry. So unfortunately we paid before checking the stairs as well as the floor upstairs. That was our mistake. And just after 2 days when we went upstairs we found terrible squeak on the stairs and across all upper floor. This makes life in the house a nightmare especially with a small child. We asked them to eliminate these defects. They started hammering!!! our drywalls on both sides of the stairs trying to make a clearance between laminate and walls. They said that lack of clearance is the reason of squeak. While installing laminate on stairs they simply forgot to make those clearances. Or probably they didn't know they are necessary. While hammering our walls on the stairs the damaged both laminate and walls and made a huge hole in the drywall. They re-sassembled laminate in one room upstairs but it remained the same squeaky as before. As for the floor there are some general rules for laminate installation and they didn't follow lots ofclearance between wall and laminate in many places is less then required (half inch) or is missing at all. Don't hire these people , pay more but go to professionals.
