Too young to retire when they were downsized in their respective careers in 2001, sisters Peggy Bellerive and Judy Wyker began searching for their next move. They landed on the idea of opening a home consignment store.
“We liked the concept of consignment,” explains Peggy, “which wasn’t a big thing at the time. The idea of furniture and household items being reused and the original owner being able to get some compensation, while the purchaser was able to buy quality products for a better price, really appealed to us.”
