Envy Nail Salon Guildford Town Centre

I have been going here for over eight years and never had any sort of problem. I really cannot understand all these terrible reviews. I do have to say that the new owner has done some nice changes to the salon. I believe she has been there now for about one year.

Do not go here - FOUR of my toes were cut. I did not enjoy the pedicure as it was painful the entire time.

Worst and over priced. No satisfaction. I paid $218 dollars for 2 full set and 2 gel pedicure which they called shellac and over charge you. But they only use gel polish. They say full set is $50 dollar. If you get design or stones it’s extra $5. Which is not true. Just to put few tiny stones on ring finger they charged me extra $15 dollars. I asked them how do they charge $15, which is not worth it. When It’s better to get your nails done from some professional place. Never ever going there.

I went to get nails done the first time. I had made an appointment but still had to wait 20-30 minutes. I liked my nails and had my eyelashes tinted which I also liked. 3 weeks later made another appointment for nail fill. Got there at appointment time. Waited around 20 minutes when they took someone who came 10 minutes after me. I went up and asked when they would help me and she said a minute. I told them I would find another salon.

I wish I could give this salon a minus 5. The entire experience was awful. Originally I had called in and booked with a particular technician and when I got there she was apparently on vacation and so they just gave me someone random. I grew my nails very long to get the shellac on and she kept messing up the nail that they were eventually close to the base and the shaping was terrible. now one week later the colour is peeling and chipping off. I called for a refund and they don't do that. Awful

They didn’t know what they were doing. They are not worth the price and the staff is rude

WORST nail technicians EVER!! They need new staff. My nails are not symmetric they are all a complete different shape. Some are wider, some are more narrow. Some are longer, some are shorter. Some tips are more rounded, some are more pointed. Some go in a completely different direction. To fix this she built my nail or tried too and made a complete mess underneath my nail and didn't even sand underneath. The woman didn't even cut my cuticles. So BAD! I went more than 3 times , every time I go I ask for a certain colour they say oh no we don't have it .3 times I went with their opinion when I wanted something else . Last time , I asked for 5 colours they said all no and she kept pushing me to go with something that it's ugly at al at all ,they just wanna get rid off some clots that's not using . Later she charged me 10.50 for just taking off the old colour from my nails. it's not about the 10 it's about their attitude . DONT go

I tried this place last week. Worst decision. She is the worst nail technician i ever had. She was very rough when drilling my nails and she was pushing me to decide which color i want. I decided to go square-oval shaped and they were not even symmetrical at all. She didnt even push my cutical or add cuticle oil after. and one week after my nails look like they were done 3 weeks ago. She purposely added the acrylic way above where my nail starts. When i pointed it out, she said no its nice.

This place it the worst I have ever been to for a shellac application . They barely spoke English and pushed me around to 3 different seats when I wouldn't agree to a full manicure and only wanted a shellac polish change . The woman was extremely rough taking off the shellac with the grinding machine and actually took a chunk of my nail off with it . She then applied the polish so thick and messy that it looked horrible and When I pointed it out she seem to care . don't go here !!!
