Mole Hill YMCA Child Care

The staff at this daycare is excellent, the manager Swinder is absolutely lovely and has done the most to ensure my child's early education is provided in an empathetic, wholesome and caring manner. As a former psych student I value the Y's research-based curriculum. My child has fun, he learns plenty, he is loved there. If some parents feel like their kid isn't learning effectively, perhaps they should ask themselves why they are expecting so much from their 4-5 year old.

There is always an opening at the daycare for a reason. While you child will get a lot of playtime outdoors, don't expect them to learn so much as a song or the alphabet here. Play based learning sounded great, until I realized this particular school likes to write novels about their programming, only to find that setting supplies on a table with no teacher guidance is not actually play based learning. Only go here while you wait for another school to accept your child.
