Nothing but great...

Nothing but great things to say. One of the widest menus I have ever seen at a pub, great beer selection. Fair prices. Clean. Very comfortable and great atmosphere. They need a second location in Ajax North!

This is where we go if we want to blow our diet. We love the garlic bread with cheese and the wraps are big and yummy. And don't forget the onion rings!!

The Portly Piper Pleases!

I've been here a few times and it has always been very good as far as pubs go. The place is roomy; has TV's and lots of pub atmosphere...The servers are friendly and the front of the house staff don't usually keep you waiting long to seat you because there seems to always be a good number of patrons there. Truthfully, I've never had anything but their wings and it's because they are big, crispy and delicious. If you like your wings hot like I do, I'd highly recommend the "Mexican Hot' to anybody!

Long Time Customer!

I have been frequenting the Portly Piper for a long time, about 5 years to be exact. Have always had good service, have made friends amongst the waitresses and Managers. Good spot, will be continuing my visits!

Great spot if you're going to YukYuk's Ajax

If you're going to YukYuk's in Ajax, this place is your best choice for dinner before the show. Located right next door, it has great food, great atmosphere, quick service (if you need it) and great drinks. They are one of the few British Pubs I've been to that actually serve Toad in the Hole - which isn't nearly as bad as it sounds for those who have never had it - and there's variety in the menu for everyone if classic British dishes are not your thing.

Great wings!

Great wings! Crispy and spicy! Potato skins and nachos were good. Garlic bread on party platter should be replaced.. maybe spring rolls....veggie platters were a bit skimpy.
