The first place I go to in Toronto whenever I need a coat, because nowhere else do you get such a great selection, good quality and full range of sizes. Staff is attentive when you need them, but will also leave you alone to browse if you prefer. I bought a fully reversible trench coat with a removable lining. The kind of coat that will last for years and would have cost a lot more elsewhere.

I found the staff dismissive of me. If you are not choosing off the rack they didn’t want to help or offer suggestions. I had to lead the conversation with questions and suggestions. Don’t judge a book by its cover, I am not going to dress up in my work clothes just to shop on Spadina. I can afford coats more expensive than what you had (or didn’t have) to offer.

A huge selection of coats and they're all really good quality. It's surprisingly difficult to find a real wool coat these days and Lorne's has plenty of them. I also found a waterproof trench coat! Would recommend shopping here.
