My family went to Showhome furniture this afternoon. What an amazing furniture shop! The kids were entertained with a fairy scavenger hunt so my husband & I had over 30 minutes of uninterrupted time to shop for dining room chairs. We were assisted by Emily. She is very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, & has a no pressure approach that was very appreciated. We ended up buying 8 dining room chairs and a beautiful large rustic coffee table. We are very happy with the new table we purchased from Ambers Furniture. We could chose the type of wood, the finish, the leg style and the size. I asked John to invent a way to enlarge my dining room table for Christmas dinner. I did not want him to make another leaf because this is a beautiful old rosewood table, and cranking it open and closed is a lot of work. So John invented and created a plywood top that extends 18 inches past both ends of the table, and now my dining room looks like Downton Abbey. Ingenious! Without Downton Abbey prices. Lire plus
