Best Friend Chinese Restaurant

Had Peking duck today and it was absolutely delicious. All their dishes are the best Chinese food ever tasted. Superior quality and highly recommended. Staff are top!

Went for New Years Eve dinner - it was busy, but we were served quickly and the food was great! Margaret our server was amazing (as usual). Looking forward to our next visit!

Service was very attentive and relaxed. Our server was Margaret and she was very good at making sure we were comfortable and all was good. Food was fresh and tasty, but could have used some more seaoning. Overall, good value.

They had one of the best services i have ever gotten. Margaret the waitress was consistently checking if we needed anything.The food was top quality as well, thanks to vincent, the chef of the day.

There are large amounts of amazing food for a cheap price.Every servants are very polite and cordial hospitality.I really have a wonderful time here and enjoy the yummy food!!

I went to the best friends Chinese restaurant with my two kids for a nice family dinner. The place was kind of dark. We ordered congee which had fresh seafood, but only one piece of every kind which was ridiculous for a large order. The fish tasted okay. Fresh and done well. But no one came to take our order unless I stood up and called them. They took 5 minutes to get a regular spoon so my daughter could eat. They never smiled and didn't even understand English, so stupid. Every Place probably has better service, but if you would like to be treated poorly for OKAY food for a little price then give it a try. You won't be going back.

i'm a regular to this restaurant. The biggest reason for me to go back to this place is the FOOD. I don't know the owner personally, but have seen him coming out of the kitchen a couple of times. I was often introduced for their new dishes and promotions. Most of them were beyond expectations. The stuff out of the regular menu is always above standard and satisfying. Service wise, I can't say it is always good, but above average I have been there either when they are super busy or super quiet. When they are busy, the service could be a little slower - but I guess it happens at any restaurant. Overall, it is a decent place to go to, expecially if your looking for some authentic chinese - particular HK style or I should say Southern Style.

Good chinese food

I go there often for this is a wonderful chinese restaurant in Mississauga. The food here is good and it always give me some surperise, the chef always change some special food for seasonal menu. I like that cuz always has some nice try. Also they changed the waitress it looks young and the service is faster than before. the decoration in the restaurant are so different with others , some funny face painting on the wall it make me happy . I like it ! will go there with my friend.

We ate here once a year ago and it was ok. Went for mother's day and boy what a mistake. We thought it would be packed but the place was practically empty for a holiday weekend. No Wonder! The service was so slow, like a 40 min wait which is ridiculous since there was like 4 other families there. The food was either too salty, too sour or over drenched in sauce, and the prices was so high. We usually get twice the amount of food for what we paid for in other places. I think they changed management and cooks cause I don't remember it being that bad? but baby it was bad....When it comes down to it, if the food is bad, then its not worth going.

Some one just passed by

I went to this restaurant today because I saw some reviews here, only one bad, I do have something to do today inside the china town, so , let us try it ! The food here is not bad and even give me some surperise, also I got a portion for half price called orange beef because I tried to help a waitress out of the trouble, one table ordered it but maybe they are too full, they want to cancel it when it is already done, that is not very nice, I asked the waitress to give to me , because it looks very nice , really good presentation ! I like it ! will bring my mum here!

I use to go to Best Friend Chinese restaurant, but they change some people and it is getting wost. The service is slow. The food is not cook properly. I ordered a hot plate and there is still some pink color on the pork. Not recommended.

Newly renovated gives it an invigorated feeling. The Sweet and Sour soup is the best in the city. Beef with Chinese broccoli is very tasty, but I wish they wouldn't take so much of the greens off of the stock. Beef Ho Fun is excellent some times and other times just good. Have had many other dishes in the past and the food is usually very good. Service is also usually quite good and friendly, though on occasion we do find them a little understaffed.

I went here because of the good reviews I read on this site. The best thing about the place was the complimentary green tea - I would actually buy some of that to take home if they sold it (I might go back just to ask). The fried rice was decent, but had little taste; it was quite healthy looking actually. Good value though. They also didn't bring our appetizer until AFTER 2 of our 3 main course dishes came. There are several other chinese retaurants near-by that I will try before even thinking of going back to this place.
