Great people, Great food!

I've been coming to this restaurant for a while now, and I have to say it's some of my favourite indian food! We usually order butter chicken and naan for my GF, but I'll try a variety of things. I've normally get the chaat papri, and have tried the tandoori platter. Everything is delicious, and as often as we go I've found it to be consistent. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Very good value for the price. This was our first...

Very good value for the price. This was our first visit and we were looking for something tasty and affordable -- think we finally found it. Many other Indian restaurants in Oakville are over priced, but not here. Our main dishes came with rice or naan. I didn't like the samosa at all and the pakora was a bit dry, but everything else was good with nice flavours. Good, attentive service too.

Tasty good value!

I've been here a few times. I know that the service can be quite bad. This particular evening, we waited and waited and waited to place our order. The staff basically seated us, and then promptly ignored us for half an hour. I was annoyed, yes, but I enjoyed the company I was with, and so, didn't complain. I think I'll place a take-out order next time. In any case, if one can overlook the poor service and the occasional looooong wait, then I would highly recommend this place, as the food is really good. The butter chicken was a bit bland for my liking, but all of the other dishes very well-seasoned and savoury. Every last piece of naan was used to mop up the yummy sauces. The best part of eating here is that the bill is always pleasingly low. I have spent double for Indian food that was less than half this good in the past. Will definitely be returning...but for take-out.

Best tandoori ever

The tandoori chicken is the best I've had. Please keep in mind I grew up in London England and have traveled around India backpacking. I thought this was great chicken. It is rare to find it done so well and in an actual tandoori oven.

We've been to this restaurant before with so so...

We've been to this restaurant before with so so results. We figured we'd give it another chance as it is fairly close to where we live. We walked in the door and waited to be seated. The place was half full. An empty handed waiter walked by us two times over the next 5 min without seating us. Finally they seated us ... right next to the entrance where we were standing. The same empty handed waiter served another table no less than 3 times (walking by us in the process) without even taking a drink order. That lasted for another 5-10 min. Normally I'd have said something but I was kind of amazed. This place is a case study in bad service. We got up and left. We'll never go back.
