Overpriced and underwhelming. The service was very slow and the place was very hot (no A/C). The glass of wine my wife ordered was "ungenerous". And the tempura zucchini was insulting for $15. The taste was okay but there were three tiny portions that were mostly just battered zucchini. I understand portions in finer restaurants are smaller. We've eaten in fine places across the Americas and Europe, and this was the first time we've been shocked when a dish was served. We won't return.
Went if for dinner with my wife and 2 kids.
Beautiful room and very comfortable, the kitchen is beautiful but is covered in clutter.
Service was very slow, took 20+ mins for the kids drinks.
Ordered 3 snacks which were good for the cost, 3 appetizers the ravioli was really good, bravas potatoes were bland and the tempura vegetables werepathetic.
Had the steak for main, potatoes were offal steak was sous vide and had zero sear on it making it bland, sauce was really good.
Beautiful, elegant country design and decor; friendly, excellent service and the menu was creative and extensive. The price point seemed to be reasonable for a good restaurant.
Alas - the food disappointed. My appetizer was pretty but some of the elements were bland. My main course was far too salty - it really took away from the meal. And the dessert's pastry was disappointingly tough. So sad. Hopefully the next try will be an improvement.
