Unfortunately, I cant give this a lower review. The food was absolutely terrible!! Most if it felt like it was warmed up from the day before. Very little selection and you get charged for water. How this place stays in business is beyond belief! I wish I would have read the reviews before going. It was that bad!!!!
So I was there last week, 30min before closing time (more than enough time for breakfast, especially considering its a buffet breakfast). The lady at the cashier with a very unwelcoming tone said that they were closing in 15min. (when we actually had 30 min. till closing) We saw that there was lots of food in the buffet and me and my husband we're discussing if we should eat there or not. It was the worst buffet EVER ! The staff were rude , they over charge you . There were bugs in my food . The place was a mess The food was disgusting . DONT GO THERE , uou will regret it
We were there about 2 weeks ago. As others mentioned, stay away from this place!! We should have checked their rating before going to this place. You will get a much better breakfast at most hotels that serve complimentary breakfast! The other downside was that they have no sign nor mention anything about charging you for drinks!
Like others here, we got caught by the $6.99 price. The food and choice were......well mediocre at best. The scrambled eggs were somewhat runny and cold. Bacon was greasy and fatty. Toast was dry from having sat in the warming tray. French toast was so, so. Frozen cubed hash browns, didn't try the pancakes or what I believe was ham. The sausages were actually half decent. Could've likely survived all this, except that I couldn't get a glass of water, only bottled water.....I didn't bother to ask the price. Never, ever have I been to a restaurant where I have been expected to pay for water, needless to say I declined. The real kicker though was when we got our bill and found out we had been charged for coffee and juice. I have eaten at a lot of breakfast buffets, and never paid for coffee or juice, although we have paid more. Wish we had checked the reviews here first. The place was busy, with people who I assume didn't know any better. Our waitress was nice, but she said she had just started, and wasn't that impressed with how they ran the place. My recommdation would be skip this place and eat at one of hotel buffets or another restaurant. Applebees next door offers a $6.99 breakfast, although not a buffet, and we haven't eaten there. Tony Romas offers a buffet for $9.99 , and while small is pretty decent.
WORST PLACE EVER! Price gets you in. Then.... 1.Had to take medication with my meal asked for a glass of water, was only aloud to buy bottled water. 2. Once the bill came was charged outrageous amounts for drinks. (Coffee was close to $4.00)(Juice was $400) 3. Food is bad and just the minuimum you would expect. 4. I asked why was so much $25 for 2 breakfasts. ******The Manager said we are in a tourist area ''WE CAN CHARGE AS MCU HAS WE WANT''!!!!****
No wonder the breakfast was only $6.99. We paid almost $6.00 for two cups of coffee. That's unethical. Server was almost embarrassed to talk to us about the coffee price.
I agree with every single thing that the other reviewers said, so I won' t reiterate every thing, but like the others, my bill was over $50.00 for 2 adults & 2 children and the food was HORRIBLE. Like another reviewer, the waitress went over the bill line by line and she did seem apologetic-must have been the same waitress!!!! She could have warned us! Please do not go here, I can't believe that they get away with this, if you are going to charge this much, at least have decent food. I don't mind paying for great food and service. They also suggested to us that we use our charge card to avoind the 3%, I too was afraid to give them my card.
Reading some of these reviews, all i can say is HONESTLY!!! If people wish to get everything for free then eating out is not for you! JUST STAY HOME! $6.99 for ALL YOU CAN EAT is awesome! They had eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, pancakes, french toast, potatoes, regular toast... I had breakfast with my husband at another place the morning before, i won't mention a name but it's a well known franchise and we spent $40.00 for only 2 omelets and 2 coffees! THAT'S IT! This place was a steal! would definitely go again.
This was the best bang for my buck in the whole city of niagara falls. I hit 4 places while on Vacation and I tell you i was ripped off on all the other joints except for this place. I tell you, if you visit Niagara Falls, go to this place. Its not big but its real eggs and home cooking. I give this place a 10 out of 10 for the buffet.
the wait was about 10 minutes to find a seat. the place was absoloutly hopping. there was a lot of food on the buffet, simple and traditional but it was the price that was great. We ate at quite a few restaurants in and around the area and let me tell you eat here. We paid 30-50 dollars more at the next cheapest place for breakfast. Nothing fancy but at least we left with most of our money and a full stomach
This restaurant advertises a $6.99 breakfast buffet (breakfast is the only meal served). Once you are sucked in the door by the appealing price, you are informed orally that beverages are extra. Few patrons question the price of the beverages since one expects them to be reasonable (based on the reasonable $6.99 buffet. There is no menu provided to show the price list. When you request a glass of water, you are told that they don't provide water by the glass, but that you can have water by the "bottle". When you get your bill, you discover that you paid $2.75 plus tax for your water. A glass of orange juice is $3.75, and a tea-bag in hot water is priced at $2.50, as is a cup of coffee. A drink of water, orange juice, coffee, and a 6.99 buffet for two people cost $36.43 before tip! To add insult to injury, the food was sub-par...toast barely toasted (basically hot white bread) and the sausage was too salty to consume. Waitress service was excellent. This is NOT a good place to eat. Don't take a family without first getting a bank loan.
The $6.99 price for the buffet is only the starting price. NO beverages are included in this price, not even water!! They charge for bottled water!! Of course, this is not mentioned (though the cash register tape has a "God bless you" printed on it, after they surprise you with the total bill). Asked for decaf, was told they only had instant - nice of them to at least allowed me to decline. The food isn't all that bad, nothing fancy (canned fruit cocktail was the only fruit) but enough hot choices and they are kept really hot. So hot and steamy that my glasses fogged up when we walked in, and stayed that way for quite a while. While the food wasn't all that bad, we just felt taken advantage of with the whole beverage price thing. Once you add the price of coffee and juice to the $6.99, the hotel/casino prices are looking much more reasonable and with better quality food.
