We had an excellent dinner on Friday at Blacktree. Thanks to Matteo and staff for making our first visit a memorable one. Won't be our last! Food is creative and interesting, service was great, atmosphere is funky and fun. Best restaurant in Burlington we have been to.
This was undoubtedly our best FOOD experience ever. The SERVICE was good until we finished our entre's. At that time we were totally forgotten about.....would have liked to have tried a dessert and coffee.
Matteo has done a superb job at an unusual location for such a great resturant. Those who discover the Blacktree will not be dissapointed. The Food was out of this world. The menu changes monthly and my wife and I will continue to sample the best food this side of the GTA.
Everyone in our party thought the same thing...there is absolutley nothing bad to say about this restaurant and i beg to differ with the previous person about the wait staff. Our waiter was knowledgable and very nice. The food was excellent and we have eaten in many many restaurants all over the place and it is such a dilight to know that there is such a gem of a restaurant right down the street from us in Oakville. What a nice change from the same old stuff in Oakville and the owner/chef is fabulous,friendly and most of all top notch at what he does. cheers and i can't wait to visit again.
